I took my son to see this Doctor for some counseling to help him deal with some self esteem issues that were causing him to act out when he felt embarrassed or rejected. I wrote on the initial paperwork that there were certain things I didn't want to discuss in front of my son as to not make him feel worse about himself. This doctor was rude and showed no compassion. It would take me pages to discuss how inappropriate and condescending he was throughout the visit. I'm not sure why I didn't get up and leave. Especially after he interrupted me while I was answering some of his questions by putting up his hand and asking me if I was aware that I talk really loud? He asked me about my son's grades and I told me he had average grades that he had to work extra hard for. His comment to me: "I thought you said he was smart". And yes, right in front of my son. I have worked with children and various counselors for over 15 years with my job. I have never been so shocked at the attitude and treatment we received. I have only touched on a couple of things that disturbed me so much. Please spare yourself or anyone in your family a visit to this doctor.
