I understand some of the reviews about her bedside manner as many pediatric Dr's present a much bubblier face with the kids. I have to share though, that I have two very hyper and challenging boys and she is incredibly patient with them. She speaks to them in a firm and direct manner, but has never been unkind or unprofessional. Her directness has helped with the efficiency of our appointments and I'm sure improves the wait time experience for everyone. She is an excellent Doctor and I trust her expertise whole heartedly.

For a pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Chen was very abrupt and easily annoyed. I took two of my children to see her and refuse to see her again. She acted the same way with both. I thought because my son has ADHD that maybe it was just because it was hard for him to sit still. But my daughter, who has no such condition, was and is quite polite to medical professionals and was still constantly snapped at for literally just sitting with her hands on her lap. How can someone like that be in pediatrics? No thankyou I will pass.
