I went in for a regular cleaning that is 100% covered by my insurance. Upon arrival, I was told I had to do a check-up and X-rays first. I agreed, and then another doctor, Dr. Rolando Acosta, came in and said everything looked fine—but that I “needed” a different type of cleaning not covered by my insurance. He refused to provide the standard cleaning that is covered. This feels like a scam. It seems they will always find a way to upsell or overcharge so you can’t actually use your benefits. They wanted to charge me $500 for a cleaning that should have been free under my plan. Very disappointing and untrustworthy.

I went in for my first appointment. After 45 mins I was put in a room with rusty equipment for my x-rays. The dentist came in 1.15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled for. After looking at my teeth he sent the business manager in to tell me that the dentist recommended a $900 cleaning. I told her I was interested in a standard cleaning and would get a 2nd opinion on the deep cleaning. They refused to give me the cleaning and I walked out.
