If this company(Happier Living) wasn’t recommended by my insurance, I would 100% assume it was a scam. Everytime i call, no matter the time it says that all representatives are with other clients and give you the option to receive a call back. After a few times of this on repeat, it forces you to get the call back BUT you can push 5 to stay on the line, however if you do that, it will hang up on you. Lets not get into the fact that if you miss the call, and call back you have to start over.

My main issue, i had an appointment scheduled for 8:40am on 11/2/22, when I logged in to the patient portal, the appointment wasnt there, so I rescheduled for an appointment time later the same day (11:20) and again went through the extremely difficult process of speaking with someone. I spoke with a guy, and he said he didnt see the appointment i mentioned (weird but okay). I didn’t argue because i didnt have an email confirmation of the appointment.

As soon as I logged in to the virtual appointment at 11:20, the provider was just as confused as i was, that my appointment was cancelled, due to a payment issue. So i again *chuckle* struggle to speak with someone. They advised that one of the forms i submitted the day prior wasn’t filled out correctly, so my appointment was canceled even though it was filled out correctly 3 hours before my appointment time. So i schedule another appointment for the following day. 11/3/22 at 8:00 am.

During the day on the 2nd, i get an email about a cancelled appointment, and my bank tells me that Happier Living tried to charge me $500. Then i get another email saying theyll try to charge again on monday. I again call, and after awhile im finally able to speak with someone who said they would escalate the issue to a supervisor who as of 11/8/22 has not gotten in touch with me, but they have tried to charge my card twice since then. They said that my 8:40 appointment was cancelled which i never cancelled. And it also doesnt make sense, if my 11:20 appointment was cancelled due to incorrect paperwork why wouldnt the 8:40 have been cancelled for the same reason? 

I 100% will not be doing business with them. How all of this happened is exactly why i gave them a card that didnt have money on it, im not paying $500 for a computer glitch on an appointment i didnt cancel.
