"In February 2021 Dr. Andrew Keyoung reviewed my Brain MRI and missed a 1cm brain tumor. I was given the MRI because of Left 6th Nerve palsy. There is generally one area where a tumor could be that would cause an issue with the 6th cranial nerve, which is exactly where my tumor was located. After the tumor was finally diagnosed by another radiologist multiple MDs have been astonished as to how such an obvious tumor was missed on the original MRI, especially given the fact that Dr. Keyoung was aware of the patient symptoms and reason for the imaging. When the tumor was diagnosed in May 2022 it had more than doubled in size. The tumor was finally found to be Chondrosarcoma Grade II. If this doctor reviewed your MRI, I highly recommend that you get a second opinion from another radiologist that is not affiliated with Hoag. I lived with a cancerous tumor in my head for over a year due to this doctors negligence and malpractice, and I now have what is likely to be permanent eye paralysis because of the delay in my treatment. The fact that it was their "Chief of Radiology" that made this error goes to show that Hoag is extremely lacking in talented radiologists."
