Neurologist - Dothan, AL

"My appointment was scheduled for 9:15 am. I arrived 7 minutes before 9:00 am. I was the first one in the office. Four more patients arrived. At 9:40 am a patient was called back into the exam area. I went up to the desk and mentioned that I needed to leave at 10:00 am for another appointment. I asked if I would be able to be seen in time for me to leave to make my other appointment. The two very nice ladies looked at the clock and cringed. One of them said the doctor just arrived and I might be able to make it. I thanked them and reiterated that I needed to leave at 10:00 am. They said that we can't hurry the doctor and I replied that I understood. At 9:48 am I was called back into the exam room. The very nice assistant took my vitals. I mentioned to her that I needed to leave at 10:00 am. The doctor sauntered in at 9:57 am without an explanation or apology. Although I was very upset at this point, I politely told him that my appointment was at 9:15 am and that I needed to leave at 10:00 am. Again he had no explanation. He asked me a question about my care and my alarm (which I had previously set for 9:58 am) went off. I said that I needed to leave and that the last appointment (a year ago) in their Dothan office I had to wait for an hour and a half. This appointment I had to wait for 45 minutes. To which he replied, well this one is better. I said what? No it isn't better, you did not arrive until 9:40 am and my appointment was at 9:15 am. He did not respond and walked out of the room and gave my paperwork to the receptionist. I am going to be seeking another provider as I find this one unresponsive and rude."
